PIVOT Language Access Technology

PIVOT Joins the Coalition on Digital Impact

We’re proud to share that PIVOT has joined the Coalition on Digital Impact (CODI) as a member.

CODI’s mission is clear:
To ensure that every person can navigate the Internet in their own language.

This aligns directly with PIVOT’s vision of making every information accessible in every language, in every format.

Why CODI Matters

The Internet is the backbone of modern life—but it’s not equally accessible.

  • Language barriers prevent millions from fully engaging online.
  • Signed language users are still pushed off-site to external platforms.
  • Many digital systems fail to address literacy, cultural, or multilingual needs.

CODI was formed to change this.

By bringing together academia, government, industry, and community organizations, CODI works to:

  • Reduce barriers to Internet access by addressing language, literacy, and cultural sensitivities.
  • Enable an inclusive and secure digital infrastructure for the future of the web.

Advance policies that promote equitable digital access for all.

Where PIVOT Fits In

As a patent-pending language access technology, PIVOT was built to make equity scalable.

With just one line of code, PIVOT empowers organizations to deliver:

  • Video — 300+ signed languages
  • Audio — multilingual voiceovers
  • Text — 7,000+ spoken and written languages

Unlike traditional translation methods, PIVOT integrates directly at the source—so people don’t have to leave a website, portal, or app to get access.

And because PIVOT is designed by an all-Deaf, accessibility-led team, it brings both lived experience and technical expertise to CODI’s mission.

The Bigger Vision

Joining CODI as a member is more than a milestone for PIVOT. It’s a step forward in a global movement for language equity and digital inclusion.

Together, we are working toward a future where:

  • Every person can navigate the Internet in their own language.
  • Digital systems are designed for accessibility from the start.
  • Policies, infrastructure, and innovation align to close the digital divide.

Because without language access, there is no digital equity.
